Singer-Songwriter Raquel Orsini is a performer whose musical style embraces influences from jazz to folk to country. Originally from Washington, DC, she performed with area folk, acoustic pop and jazz bands as lead vocalist and music arranger.

Raquel spent part of her musical journey in Austin, TX, where she teamed up with Texas troubadour Hank T. Hunt to work on original material. They performed as an acoustic duo and with a full band, sharing their toe-tapping, story-telling originals. Austin, an alt country Mecca, remains a major influence on Orsini.

Currently based in Frederick, MD, Raquel's music is a roots-y blend of Texas-inspired alt country and folk.
